Hey kids! I'm not dead, though I'm sure most of you have assumed so. But indeed I still live. Yes.

So, what the hell have I been doing? Writing, mostly, which is what prompted me to give you this journal entry to the Magical BLACK Trailer of Doom. That's right, my book has a trailer. A really shitty one.

The book grows nearer to completion daily. There's still a lot of work to be done, but it's around 3/4 done with about 1/3 edited enough to be publishable. I'll need another 25K words or so (which is about half of what I did in November), but the plot outline is finished, and I even have ideas for a sequel. There's a good chance for making it a trilogy, even. The universe itself has expanded like mad, and I've got at least 12 total ideas for novels, short stories, and comics all set within the same universe.

I think it's some good stuff. The trailer won't tell you much (or anything at all, really), but it's a bit hard to do for a book, especially when I can't give away hardly anything because of the nature of it. Even the nature of the world the characters live in is going to end up being something of a surprise. Anyway... enjoy, and I hope to talk to some of you folks soon. I really miss DA, I just haven't had any kind of time whatsoever. Doesn't look to be letting up any time soon, either, but hopefully I'll at least have something more to show for my efforts than a shitty Flash movie!

Mike, you're alive! How are you doing? What are you up to these days? Hehe, I was so out of it this morning when I checked DA quickly, that I thought I was imagining things or still asleep and dreaming. I was in the middle of making breakfast later, and I was like, "Did Que really make contact? No, I think I was still asleep." Then I looked again tonight, and holey undies! I hope all is well with you. I hope that you will give us a full update! Or at least a brief one... :D :cheese:

Never change.
Never stop.
I should, though I doubt anybody follows me anymore! I just don't have the time for this stuff that I used to, much less the energy, but every now and again I feel the need to post something, hence the latest poem.

Good to know you're still around, though. Always such a rock, Cass. If only all the world was so stable.

It is quite strange and sad how trying to talk to old friends on here is like talking to ghosts. I follow you though. I don't know about being a rock, I am too squishy these days anyway. Have you been alright?

Hey, squishy is good too! Better for :glomp:ing! Maybe some other things too... ;)

Yeah, I've been okay. Sort of going through a little bit of a premature mid-life crisis. 30 looms on the slightly more than distant horizon, and my job has been hateful hell. And there's plenty else, I guess... but things are okay.

I'm actually working on another poem that I may post, so you may see me around for a little longer than normal. I've been away too long to really "come back", though. Most of the folks I knew are gone or probably barely remember me. I lost touch with Beth (ravengurl) some time ago. It's probably been 2 years since we've spoken. That still hurts a little. Possibly quite a lot.

How've you been? I never get on messaging programs anymore, so I never get to talk to any of the old crew. I've missed you! Your art seems robust as ever. I hope things are treating you well.

Hey pal! Sure did used to play some Quake. Sorry for the delay, I don't really use this site much I guess.

Maybe get in touch with me via my website? We can catch up, it's been probably like 37 years. [link]
